Christ the Lord

Word of the Father
Now in flesh appearing

That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear

O Little Town Of Bethlehem (Saint Louis)
Verse 1

O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

Verse 2

For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep
The angels keep their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And peace to men on earth

Verse 3

How silently how silently
The wondrous gift is given
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven
No ear may hear His coming
But in this world of sin
Where meek souls will receive Him still
The dear Christ enters in

Verse 4

Where children pure and happy
Pray to the blessed Child
Where misery cries out to Thee
Son of the mother mild
Where charity stands watching
And faith holds wide the door
The dark night wakes the glory breaks
And Christmas comes once more

Verse 5

O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born in us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel

Away In A Manger (Mueller)
Verse 1

Away in a manger no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay

Verse 2

The cattle are lowing the Baby awakes
But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes
I love Thee Lord Jesus look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle 'til morning is nigh

Verse 3

Be near me Lord Jesus I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And fit us for heaven to live with Thee there

Sweetly singing o'er the plains

Echoing their joyous strains

Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee
Christ the Lord the newborn King

We Three Kings (Kings Of Orient)

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain moor and mountain
Following yonder star

Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading still proceeding
Guide us to Thy perfect light

Verse 2

Born a King on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever ceasing never
Over us all to reign

Frankincense to offer have I
Incense owns a Deity nigh
Prayer and praising all men raising
Worship Him God on high

Verse 4

Myrrh is mine its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom
Sorrowing sighing bleeding dying
Sealed in the stone cold tomb

Glorious now behold Him arise
King and God and sacrifice
Alleluia alleluia
Peals through the earth and skies

Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus Lord at Thy birth
Jesus Lord at Thy birth

With the angels let us sing

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know beforehand, what to expect at a Sunday service.

Where and When

We currently meet in a home for our Sunday service starting at 4:00 p.m.  For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to give you time to park and find a seat before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

We typically share a meal together after the service.  This is a great way to meet people and make connections.  There is no cost.  As our guest, we are happy to serve you.  We hope that you will join us!

Our Service

Our service begins at 4:00 pm with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of worship, led by our worship team. We typically have 2 or 3 songs. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the Bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is Bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

What about my kids?

We have a great program lined up for kids of all ages:

  • Nursery (0 months to 3 years). Children under 6 months are welcome but must be accompanied by their parent/grown-up at all times.
  • Pebbles (3-11 years)
  • Youth (11-18 years) stay in service

Children stay with their parents or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome, songs, and announcements. We really value worshiping God all together as a family. At some point, the younger members will be dismissed to go to their class. You will need to go with your children to register them as part of our child safety policy. While you are dropping your kids off, we will pause to take time to chat to someone sitting nearby, giving you a chance to come back before the sermon begins.

The kids group activities may vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, Bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, fun games, and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.
